Where Do I Look For Content To Post On My Blog?

seriously, i heard that blogging, with the right advertisers in it, you can earn hundreds of dollars, just by blogging. so now im a member of blogchex.com, and they pay you in the first place but i dunno where or how to start! how can i put my referral banners in there? can you gimme some links or advice on how to get started? i want step-by-step instructions since i really have no idea.. thanks.

Im Being Charged Almost 6 Grand For A Blogging Website. Is This Too Much? Will Look Similar To Perezhilton.com?

i was first quoted 2-5grand (australian dollars) and after a meeting it has increased to 5.7grand! i realize there are alot of free online blogging sites, however i would like to be done professionally to have the sleek modern feel to it.
is this price adequate, or am i being ripped off?
